Shirley Singleton is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Edgewater Technology, which she co-founded in 1992. Since
inception, Edgewater has grown from a privately-held, five-person shop
into a $70 million, publicly-traded technology management consulting
firm with 300 consultants in nearly 30 states and Canada.
Shirley has been presented with numerous awards and recognitions. Most
recently, Endicott College awarded her with an Honorary Doctor of
Humane Letters. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Woman-Led
Businesses in Massachusetts for five consecutive years; and by Boston Magazine as one of the Top 100 Powerful Women in the Boston area.
Shirley serves on the Foundation Board for Bunker Hill Community
College; the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts Taxpayer's
Association; Advisory Board for The Boston Club; Board of Trustees for
the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, and the Dean's
Advisory Council for Bentley College. In addition, she is a member of
the Town of Essex Conservation Commission.
Shirley is a graduate of Northeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.
