Remodeling Our World is a vision of living life peacefully – at home, at work, in families or in communities, in every aspect of life. Although the vision is far-reaching, the implementation is practical and convenient starting with “hand tools” which fit easily and naturally into daily life. The view at all times is that individuals already have the answers inside of them. The brilliance is there for everyone to discover together.
Joyce started this adventure on a personal mission to learn how to live a more peaceful life. She tried all types of tools and studied many processes including research regarding the workings of the brain and why some tools worked while others didn’t. As her life improved, she shared what she had learned through Remodeling Your Life – a framework and tools to support changes in our lives with a casual, fun, do-it-yourself style. The tools were universal and worked just as well for people trying to break the cycle of poverty as they did with executives looking to live in a stressful world or moms juggling busy schedules.
From there the vision grew….Soul Practitioners was created to support people as they began to live their life purpose. Soul Practitioners weren’t comfortable with selling and marketing in an aggressive way. Using simple workshops, Joyce helped them look inside themselves to find the niche market they were passionate about. They discovered ways to market their businesses without “selling their souls”. Joyce was fortunate to have a “day job” as a CFO and COO for small companies. She was able to draw from her 25 years of experience as a corporate executive to offer a variety of sales and marketing tools which the Soul Practitioners felt aligned with their value systems.
With the upheaval of the financial systems in the fall of 2008 and the resulting decline in the economy, the vision grew again. As the initial shock wore off, Joyce found that people in many corporations didn’t want to go back to the old ways of doing business. She, like many others, sees this time as fertile ground for transformation. Remodeling Our World is an opportunity to co-create this new paradigm together.
