Peggy Nolan is the mother of two children and the stepmother of four children. She is also a stepdaughter raised by her stepmother. She is a published writer and founder of two blogs, The Stepmom's Toolbox and Serendipity Smiles. She is a frequent contributing writer to the StepMom Magazine, Diva Toolbox, and frequent guest writer for other stepmom blogs including No One's The Bitch.com, Becoming a Stepmom.com, Stepmothers Milk.com and others. She is the lead moderator for the support group, Stepmoms on a Mission. Peggy also created the Mother's Day Dare Project, which dares moms and stepmoms to extend olive branches by sending each other Mother's Day cards.
Peggy is currently working on a book for stepmoms by stepmoms. She lives in Derry, NH with her husband, Richard.
Erin Hallstrom-Erickson, both a stepdaughter and a stepmother, is an award-winning writer and well-known blogger in the rapidly growing Stepmom blogosphere. She is the writer of a personal blog, The Erin Experiment, and the creator of Stepchicks and the Stepfamily Letter Project.
As the creator of Stepchicks, an online community that reaches out to soon-to-be, new, and veteran stepmoms, Erin offers support and peer counsel in a Stepmom-friendly environment. As a co-creator of the Stepfamily Letter Project, an anonymous letter-writing website for members of blended families, Erin offers readers insight into the emotions of blended families.
