Chef Mary of Simply Delicious Personal Chef Service
learned to cook from her grandma. Grandma was from the “Old Country” and
did not make anything from a box; all her recipes were from scratch. Chef
Mary continues that tradition by cooking home-made meals, creating her dinners
with wholesome, nourishing foods. She was taught that dinner time was
family time, and she passes that on to her family and clients by making
mouth-watering meals for everyone to enjoy.
As a working mother of three
teen-age children, Chef Mary understands the demands of today’s world and the
stress everyone is under. She knows that there never seems to be enough
time and that making a healthy dinner can be difficult. That’s why being
a personal chef is so important to her; so that she can help her family and
clients save time and eat better to meet the challenges of every-day-life.
In 2007 Chef Mary received the
Certified Personal Chef (CPC) certification. This designation was created
in 1996 by the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) with a
three-fold purpose:
> To provide a standard by which the public could assess a
Personal Chef’s competency.
> To provide the Personal Chef with industry recognition of
their professional commitment.
> To establish standards by which the Personal Chef industry
could become self-regulated.
This federally registered
trademark is an industry endorsement of professional expertise and assures her
clients of Chef Mary’s continued commitment to excellence.
Chef Mary is a current member of the United States Personal Chef Association
(USPCA) and has been with them since 2004. Through this organization she
has the opportunity to talk with hundreds of personal chefs from around the United States
and access to hundreds of various recipes. She is ServSafe certified, is
a member of the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce and Mid-Day Business
and Professional Women (BPW). Chef Mary has degrees in both Accounting
and Business Administration.
