Sandra Bullock & The Golden Globe Awards Workout

Well it’s here again; The Golden Globe Awards where the talented and beautiful people of the screen come together for this sensational annual event.

 

No more so than one of Hollywood’s favorite actresses Sandra Bullock, who is nominated for two films, The Proposal and The Blind Side.

 

The 45 year old actress is looking fitter and hotter than ever before, some even saying she’s looking better than actresses 20 years her junior.

 

So how does she do it? There’s no quick fix to looking that good, especially when you are over 40. A woman definitely has to work a little harder in achieving a lean sexy body when she’s over 40 than she would if she was fifteen or twenty years younger.

 

Getting someone like Sandra Bullock into shape would be a great honour for any fitness coach, with my experience the method that I would use would be circuit training and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This is definitely the best way to get someone into shape, not only is it fantastic for fat loss but with the circuits thrown in it tones and shapes the body amazingly.

 

With the circuit training I would include 4 different circuits in the workout with each circuit containing three different exercises working both the upper and lower body. The circuits would include bodyweight, resistance and plyometric exercises performed one after the other without any rest in between. Once completed, rest for 1 minute and repeat the entire workout two more times.

 

When performing the High intensity Interval Training I would include 30 seconds of hill or flat sprints followed by a 1 minute recovery period for a total of 15 minutes.

 

As for Sandra’s nutrition plan, this would include eating five small meals throughout the day. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner. These meals would consist of complex carbohydrates and lean proteins. Basically wholesome nutritious foods that nourish the body.

 

If you are aiming for a Sandra Bullock body, follow my advice. It has worked for many women I have trained over the years and I have no doubt it will work for you.
