Do you believe you can do work you really love and
still get paid for it?
·
Would you continue to do your work even if you
weren’t getting paid?
·
What do you love to do more than anything else in
the world?
When we truly connect our passion with our work,
magic happens! You are eager to jump out of bed in the morning and begin each
day. You become so involved with what you are doing that time flies by …
minutes turn into hours, days, weeks and months. You might get so excited that
you can’t wait to share your work, discoveries or results with others.
When we love our work, we genuinely feel good. When
we feel good, we tend to be healthier and happier. When we are healthy and
happy, life flows seamlessly for us. Our
creativity is enhanced, relationships are supportive and obstacles are more
easily resolved.
From a feng shui perspective, your space mirrors
your inner self. The patterns of how you feel about yourself and the events in your
life are reflected in your home, your office and wherever you spend a lot of
time. If you would like to get a job, do
work that is more fulfilling or connect with your deep inner passion, energizing
the Career gua of your space can help bring a change to this area of your life.
The Life Path or Career area
is the front center of every space when you overlay a tic-tac-toe grid of 9
blocks over the entire area. The area can be your land, your house, your
office, your master bedroom, home office or any room in your house. It can also
be your desktop, your car or wherever you are.
How does the Career gua of
your home look and feel? What kind of shape is it in? To shift the energy, give the area a thorough
cleaning. Make sure that everything is in great working order and if
clutter-free. Then enhance this area with anything that reminds you of your
path in life or what you’d love to do.
The Career gua is energized
by the Water element. Including water or pictures that have water in them, the
colors black and deep blues or greens, mirrors or glass, shiny or shimmery
fabrics can be very helpful. You can also add some metal objects, the colors
white or gray and round or oval shapes. Be
open to the possibility that things are shifting behind the scene or under the
surface. After you plant the seeds of change, allow time for them to take root
and develop.
Often, the Career gua
correlates with the location of your front door. Perhaps give your door a fresh coat of paint
or wash it thoroughly. A beautiful walkway leading to your front door is very
supportive. The doorbell and lights should be working. Your door should open
easily and fully. As you enter your
home, a circular or oval mat is a wonderful landing spot. Once inside, create a focal point that captures
your attention and draws you into the house. The focal point could be a
beautiful path, a sailing ship, an image that evokes how you would feel living
your dream or anything that you find delightful and lifts your spirits.
Work with the Career gua of
your home or office with positive intention; open to the possibility that you
can connect with your passion and live a life you love! Many people are already doing this. You can
too.
